Christien + Crystal's Back Bay & Crystal Cove Newport Engagement

Christien and Crystal first met in early high school, but they lost touch when Crystal transferred to another school. Years later they were reconnected at a mutual friend’s 4th of July party, and let’s just say there were fireworks. 6 ½ years later they are on their way to the altar! As their love has grown, their friendship has also deepened tremendously, which gives them such a natural chemistry, and it totally comes out in their dreamy photos!

We met up with Christien and Crystal at the Back Bay in Newport, just a few blocks from their home. We explored the trails with them and enjoyed the sweeping views of the Back Bay. Then we headed over to the Beach where the fun really began. It was there that we really got to see their playful personalities come out. We really enjoyed the sunset and the tide pools that we found (sea anemones may have been poked during this photo shoot!). We were delightfully surprised to find that they were totally game to splash in the ocean (in January) for some epic photos.

The fun energy and romance that they brought to this shoot made it something truly special. We so enjoyed our time with these two and we just can’t wait for their Huntington Beach wedding this August!
