Michelle and Paul met on OK Cupid, with a whopping 99% match, which turned out to be wildly accurate, as they soon discovered they shared so many things in common. After just 3 dates Michelle started suspecting that Paul might be the one.

They planned the big wedding of their dreams for March 21, 2020, but just one week before their big day, California locked down. They made the heartbreaking call to postpone their wedding until September. Their new date was less than two weeks before our baby boy was due, and so our lovely associate photographer, Alicia stepped in to save the day.

With the help of their wedding coordinator, Cassie, the two came up with a creative solution to go ahead with celebrating their wedding in September, despite limitations on their guest count. Instead of choosing whether to celebrate with their friends or their large extended family, they had two mini-weddings on Friday and Saturday, one for family and the other for friends. These two made the most out of such a tricky situation, and they truly thought of everything. From the sweet gifts they gave their bridal party to the personalized hand sanitizers they gave their guests (among many other great personalized details), their wedding day was amazing!

They didn’t even let the heatwave hold them back. It was a blazing 120 degrees outside, but they rolled with it and had an amazing time with their friends. It’s not everyday you see a reception become a pool party!
