Tommy + Vanessa's Rancho Buena Vista Adobe Summer Wedding

A little over a year and a half ago, Tommy and Vanessa met at a Coffee Bean for the first time. They had been set up by mutual friends and had reluctantly agreed to a blind date. Little did they know that coffee date would be the last first date they'd ever have. The mutual attraction that sparked their relationship was quickly furthered by easy conversation and enjoyment of each other's company. It didn't take very long before they knew that what they had was something that they wanted to keep.

Tommy proposed to Vanessa at the spot where he first told her that he loved her. He crafted a video out of clips and photographs they had taken throughout their relationship. He played the video for her on a large projector screen amongst the trees that he had decorated with twinkle lights. Then he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.

The two chose a theme verse for their wedding day, Psalm 34:3 “Oh come magnify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.” They wanted people to join in with celebrating the beautiful union of two hearts becoming one flesh under the Biblical covenant God has designed and first displayed through what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Their day lived up to that vision. It was evidenced in the way that their family and friends gathered around them in prayer, and in the sweet vows that they wrote for each other. Those who joined them in celebrating their marriage were overjoyed to witness these two come together as one.

It was a privilege to be a part of such a beautiful day. We wish Tommy and Vanessa a long and happy marriage!
